You already know how much I love the Victoria's Secret So Sexy Shampoo and Conditioner for dry and damaged hair...
Well while I was out of town I gave the So Sexy Hair Serum a try....I loved it.....Every morning I would apply it and style...It was light weight ....not heavy at all...Gave hair a nice shine.....The Smoothing Shine Serum bottle cites silk protein as a key element. It adds softness, like a leave-in conditioner. It was like applying a shot of perfume to my hair....It kept my hair smelling So Sexy all week long.....
I was using LustraSilk Cholesterol for my Prepoo's but I went to Sally yesterday and they had Proclaim Cholesterol for $2.99 and it was a huge tub......I like to mix my oils in my cholesterol conditioner for my prepoo's........I never used Proclaim Products so I hope I like it...I'll keep you posted.......

I bought some flowers for my hair to jazz up my buns and updo's for spring and summer ......Here are a few...They have so many different flowers to choose from check it out..My goal is to grow my hair out while using the least amount of heat for hair health.....So I'm always looking for ways to stay cute and sexy during the process......I also bought hair sticks from Claire's......You can by flowers for yourself at......

GlossaryFrom About.comDefinition: A clarifying shampoo has one job and that is to remove buildup of gels, mousses, pomades and other products that weigh down your hair with regular use. It differs from a regular shampoo because of the elevated acid content of the product and because of this, it should be used about once a month.
" Because I co-wash more than I shampoo...I Clarify once a month...Using Nexxus Aloe Rid......Some people clarify way too often...I don't because of the acid content...Once a month works great.."
When I clarify I shampoo and lather only once with Clarifying Shampoo...Second lather I use a Moisturizing Shampoo

Moisturize ends , and Seal with oil and Tie Satin scarf every night..( Night routine is very important) I like EQ Elasta Mango Butter for moisturizer and Coconut Oil to seal
De tangling, combing and brushing .....Always Start at the Bottom then work you way up to scalp
Take an egg or two, break and beat them and beat till frothy then apply to dry hair, let sit for about 15 minutes, rinse out and shampoo. Then deep condition with moisturizing conditioner... The protein in the egg helps strengthen and moisturize hair...I do this once or twice a month
Never sleep in tight ponytails and buns
Dusting ends often
Heat appliances are used for special occasions
Never brush hair when wet
When my hair is wet I treat it like silk
Deep condition 1-2 times a week
Let me start by saying these are so yummy....They smell so good and very moisturizing...Tropical scents....I love them !!!! They leave an appearance of clear gloss......Today bought these flavors
They were on sell for $2.50 each at CVS

Cheap Conditioners are cheaper than expensive ones because they are usually watered down ...Which makes them perfect for Co-Washes and Prepoo's
But there are certain things I will not buy cheap.....That is my Deep Conditioners for deep conditioning and my Leave-in Conditioners....Right now I'm using Nexxus Humectress for deep conditioning, and Nexxus Headress for leave-in....
I do not get the results you see in retaining my length from using cheap deep conditioners and leave-ins....Remember in relaxed hair ....Moisture is everything......
Use the cheapies for co-washes and prepooing...And use the good stuff for your deep conditioning treatments and your leave-ins

My hair is feeling a little dry.......I guess from all the styling over the weekend.....Here's a little tip on quick fixes I use when my hair needs a little moisture......
I Love Neutrogena Triple Moisture Line.......
When my hair needs a little boost ....I use the Daily Deep Conditioner....What I do is Co-Wash with my normal conditioner and rinse.....Then I apply the Daily Deep Conditioner and let sit on my hair while I shower .....Then rinse right before I step out of the shower ...I try to let it sit for a least 5 minutes....Wonderful results every time........
When my hair needs a lot more moisture like now.....I use the Deep Recovery Hair Mask on dry hair and Coconut Oil over night........I cover with plastic cap and then cover that with my scarf till morning.....Then I Co-Wash or Wash.....And use the Daily Deep Conditioner for 5 minutes in shower....Rinse and deep condition with Nexxus Humectess Conditioner with heat for 20 minutes.......Hair turns out soft and very hydrated....

When I first started on my healthy eating for myself and family and started drinking diet soda...Then I learned that it still had negatives: (Sodium) Bloating and water retention is caused by carbonation which is in all sodas. Bloats you and makes you feel heavy.....When I stop drinking sodas I lost 6 pounds with out changing anything...I lost all that water retention.....3 years now without soda...I never thought that day would come...I was a Pepsi-holic
People who drink diet soft drinks don't lose weight. In fact, they gain weight, a new study shows.
For regular soft-drink drinkers, the risk of becoming overweight or obese was:
* 26% for up to 1/2 can each day
* 30.4% for 1/2 to one can each day
* 32.8% for 1 to 2 cans each day
* 47.2% for more than 2 cans each day.
For diet soft-drink drinkers, the risk of becoming overweight or obese was:
* 36.5% for up to 1/2 can each day
* 37.5% for 1/2 to one can each day
* 54.5% for 1 to 2 cans each day
* 57.1% for more than 2 cans each day.
For each can of diet soft drink consumed each day, a person's risk of obesity went up 41%.
Yes that includes diet soda too.....Diet so actually is considered bad because study has shown the artificial sweeteners makes you crave more calories.
As for as regular soda ..Why drink your calories....One soda averages 250 calories plus what your already eating....
Want a flatter stomach and want to lose a few pounds ...Start by cutting Sodas and carbonated drinks

All this week....I've been training really hard....And I have been getting frustrated because I haven't really been getting sore....So I felt like I wasn't working hard enough....After talking to someone last night.....I learned that I haven't been sore because of the MSM I'm taking for hair growth...This below is info I found on line about working out....
MSM supplementation helps detoxify the body and increases blood circulation.
Because there are few nerves in the bones, our pain comes from the soft tissue. MSM supplementation helps take out the inflammation, permits the muscles to heal and prevents them from becoming sore. If you play sports or work-out in a gym and normally get sore muscles the next day. Taking MSM before exercise and you will notice a difference. If taken after exercise, the soreness will go away faster...(Source www.evolutionhealth.com/msm.htm)
So I went running last night .....I'm on my way this morning to do 5 more miles.....Tonight I'll hits some weights...Now that I know I can train hard without getting really sore...It's on and cracking !!!!!

What does your hair really say about you?
Secret Signals Your Hair Sends:Short
Cropped hair is often interpreted as signifying intelligence, openness and honesty -what you see is what you get. As a rule, shorter styles also tend to make younger women appear older and more sophisticated.Shoulder length
A woman with medium-length hair is usually perceived as classy and strong. People often view her as powerful, and someone who exemplifies both brains and beauty.Long
If long hair is well kept, it suggests confidence and sensuality. But watch out for unkempt styles, which send a very different message: that the person is trying to cover up the parts of her body or face she considers flawed.Curly vs Straight
Waves give the impression of playfulness, warmth and carefree nature; wearing your hair straight tells people that you are together, polished and stylish.Ponytail
A neat, traditional ponytail is the picture of poise - it's a good style for meeting your boyfriend's parents or giving a presentation in front of your boss. A pony tail higher on the head conveys a more casual, energetic look.

It is important to take care of your hair at night. When we toss and turn, dragging or rubbing our heads and hair across the fabric of our pillows we can snag the cuticle layer of the hair against the fibers on the pillow.. This rubbing results in roughing up the surface of the hair shaft and leads to the tangles and knots ,split ends, and breakage ....
My Nightly Routine:
First let me say always cover hair in a Satin/Silk Bonnet, Scarf....Never use cotton it will dry out your hair...Satin Pillow Cases are great too....Only about $7 or $8 at Sally's Beauty Supply or Bed Bath and Beyond....
- I moisturize and seal nightly : I moisturize first with 100% Aloe Vera Gel, then Elasta Qp Mango Butter then seal with Coconut Oil......Concentrate on ends..Your ends are the oldest and need the most moisture.....When I'm wearing my hair straight I use a dab of Coconut Oil on ends.....
- Next I bun or make one braid ...When i wear my hair straight I wrap or pin curl after moisturizing ....
- Last put on my Scarf or Bonnet depending on my style....
My hair this week has taken some serious abuse....Let's see I relaxed early part of this week....Used heat twice this week....So this week I will do a couple of deep conditioning with heat....Baby my hair and ends...Give it a break from heat and styling....Air dry and where some cute buns this week.....I have a formal event this Saturday....My hair needs a break so I'll probably do a sleek side bun ....or some kind of formal updo and give my hair a break....I go to Vegas at the end of the month I guess I'll straighten then....So my hair will get a break till then ....Last thing I want is to mess up and slow down my progress
Dear Heavenly Father,

Yesterday , I dusted and moisturized my ends ....I dust by using hair trimming scissors ... Do not use household scissors..Goody or Conair are good ones . When dusting what you want to do is just nip the tips of your hair. You will not lose any length. Hair trimmings on the floor will look like dust.
I also always do the method "Search & Destroy"...I get in some good light .... Take a section of hair and search it for split & damaged ends and cut just the damaged ends....This takes forever....but when I'm bored it keeps me busy...This method you need to be at least shoulder length so you can see your ends.....
Dusting is a way to make your trims last longer....My last major trim was July of '07' ...I've been able to keep my ends healthy by these two methods....I usually dust at least once a month...
These methods will not work for some who is in desperate need of a trim.....After you have a good trim these methods will make your trim last longer

Usually I only detangle my hair in the shower with conditioner so I will not have breakage....So anyways I'm at CVS and theres this brush called Ouch Less by Goody....So I bought it ....And...I loved it ....I finally found a brush I like.....I used it on dry hair and not a broken strand.....I bought the brush for medium to thick hair...They also make one for curly hair and thin hair.
