Never Again....

I tried and it just was too much...I didn't use water and I used very little product and it was too much moisture...I'm going to do a light protein and I'm throwing out the baggy method....At least I can say I tried it...

Less Suds !!!

So I haven't washed my hair with shampoo for a week and a half....I've been Co-Washing every couple of days and I love it......I'm definitely going to try to shampoo my hair less often...I won't even attempt to go shampoo free yet..I'm not ready for that ...Maybe I'll do a Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) rinse next Co-Wash ....I'll keep you guys posted ....

Kids Remember More Than You Think

My Husband an I took the kids yesterday to a kids birthday party.....In the process of leaving the party we were standing outside the house saying our goodbyes....When my 4 year old sons takes his balloon and holds it up to the sky and lets it go.....

All of my kids stare at it while it disappears into the sky....My 4 years turns to me and says.... It went to heaven with Grandma....I miss my Grandmother so much...Fighting back tears ......I say... Yes baby...

My Grandmother died 2 years ago and my son was approaching 2years old when she died....How does he remember her....He even remembers her favorite cookies......

Kids remember more than we think they do...So lets try to make their childhood memorable ....Just take more time out for your kids because even your youngest one will look back one day and remember

Sorry for the delay in posts.....I've been busy building my Social Network and it is really growing fast....I'm so thankful for all the support I'm getting from everyone....

Silken Child Silk Moisturizing Creme by Silk Elements & My Jilbere Pastel Shower Comb

I'm always losing my Combs, Brushes, Pony Tail holders.....It just doesn't make sense...I know they just don't walk out of the house....I really get upset with myself that I don't put stuff back where it goes...Because when I need it..... I can't find it .....

Anyways after searching high and low for my shower comb ...I broke down and bought another one from Sallys.....I love my shower comb so I had to replace it......


Well ...I love my Elasta QP Mango Butter....It will always be a staple...But I don't like it on wet hair...damp hair yes... But not really on wet hair.....So I needed a moisturizer that was light enough to put on my hair wet before air drying......So I went to Sallys and spent about 30 min reading the back ingredients to different products......And I liked Silken Child Silk Moisturizing Creme ...For kids by Silk Elements.....It contains Silk Amino Acids, Shea Butter, Olive Oil and Coconut Oil...It claims to be a daily reviver of moisture balance, shine and manageability. It claims to help to protect hair from breakage and eliminates dry, lifeless hair.

Well after I co-washed last night I left a little of my Vo5 in my hair as a leave-in and then used Silken Child ....It was light and it wasn't heavy or greasy on my wet hair...I sealed with Coconut Oil...And air dried in four braided plaits.....This morning when I took my hair down it was very moisturized and so so soft ...And my hair wasn't heavy and weighed down by oils....It came out absolutely pretty...One of the best braid outs I have had in months....I was tempted to rock my braid out but instead I pulled it back in a bun....I'm going wear damp buns during the week and wear cute braid-outs on the weekends all this summer

Silken Child Silk Moisturizing Creme is a keeper...I loved it and I loved the smelled !!!!!

My B12 and B6 Shots !!!!

I haven't had a B12 or B6 shot since I've gotten back from our trip.....And wow I feel a difference...I don't have a lot of energy. ..All the extra energy is gone...I've gained 2 pounds.....I'm starting back tomorrow... The shots were really helping..

A Few Changes For The Summer !!!!

In the hot summer months I struggle to keep my hair moisturized .. So I hope adding these things to my regimen this summer will help....

Increase Co-washes....Every Day or Every Other Day
Baggy air dried ponytail a few times a week...Using just a little of moisturizer and coconut oil...
Doing Damp Buns to help retain moisture

Apple Cider Vinegar rinse once a week after shampooing (restores PH balances...add two teaspoons of ACV to a large glass of warm water or Mix 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar with 1 quart water. Lean your head over a sink and carefully pour the mixture over your entire scalp. Apple cider vinegar gets rid of residue build-up on hair, leaving it soft and shiny. Rinse clean ..smell disappears after you rinse)

Protect hair when out in the sun by wearing a hat and scarfs.
Also 100% Aloe Vera Gel protects hair from sun and chlorine

May Relaxer Results/ Conair Final Review

I relaxed and flat-ironed today....I gained my length back from March's Trim....And I gained a little more length.....I don't think I can claim MBL yet...I'll wait till next relaxer.........


I love the Infiniti NanoSilver By Conair on my hair !!! It turned out soft, silky, and shiny ....It's a keeper...I still need to buy another flat-iron because I didn't like it on my Niece.... Who has 3c natural hair...It got puffy in about an hour after I finished...But it worked great on my relaxed hair.....

My Husband and I are going out of town for the weekend again.....Promise to have fun !!!!

The book of Song of Solomon is the story of King Solomon who fell in love with a beautiful women. A beautifully written love story....

I believe that Song of Solomon was placed in the bible to create a picture of romance, passion, and true love the way God intended....

Marriage is more than Physical Intimacy.....

Marriage takes two people making each other their priority after God ....

Marriage is accepting each other for who you are... and bringing out the best in each other...

Marriage is becoming one with your best friend

Marriage is not intimidating but is safe...Is not jealous.....

Marriage is raising a family and supporting one another decisions

Most already know that I wear MAC Cosemetics only......These are the Shadows and Blush I used to achieve this look......To achieve these softer smoke eyes I only used two shadows....Silver Ring and Beauty Mark Eyeshadow..You couldn't see the purple it the picture...But the dark shadow around my eyes is the Beauty Mark Eyeshadow (velvet Purple/Plum with sparkles).........Mascara of course......I use Corduroy Eyeshadow for my Brows.....
