Sometimes our relationship takes work to keep things on track.
But no matter what we go through or whatever effort it takes,
it's always worth it...
Because our relationship is more important to me than anything.
You're a wonderfull husband and father.
Happy Birthday General

During the dry season...U need to pamper your hair....
Moisturize , Moisturize, Moisturize..
Deep condition 1x or more with a moisturizing conditioner
Prepoo with a moisturizing conditioner to prevent striping the hair
Use a moisturizing Leave-in Conditioner
Pic from Victoria Secret.com
Keep heat usage to a minimal
Avoid taking hot showers or washing your hair in hot water, use warm or cool water instead, the heat can dry out and/or damage your hair and skin.
Protect hair from wool coats and hats
Also if you leave in very cold areas..Do not go outside with hair wet, if one goes outside with their hair wet they are taking the chance of freezing your hair, causing breakage as a result.
So when it starts to get cold here..I will start using a thicker leave-in ...And I'm all ready set with My Shea Butter for a thicker moisturizer.....I will also go back to co-washing 1x a week no more than 2 when the winter sets in..

Now the Shea Butter is heaven...I'm loving my buttery hair and skin...
I'm now 7 weeks post and once again I'm dying for a retouch....The pictures were taking right after I sectioned my hair and applied my Shea Butter to new growth and down to the ends of my hair....I finished by applying Coconut Oil to the hair and bunning...So I will be wearing buns till my next relaxer... I'm going to try to make it again to 10 or 11 weeks but I won't make any promises..Hahaha...Ya know stretching isn't my thing...
So I ran out of my Studio Stick Foundation and went to Macy to restocked today and ended up buying a couple extra things...I didn't go crazy like I usually do...I restocked on Gorgeous Gold (A favorite)Shadow and got the Cult of Cherry : Tempting Eye Shadow 4x.....This week I'm going to restock on Chrome Yellow shadow...And try the Tinted Lip Conditioner Stick.
I got a break from the kids this weekend...My Mother-In-Law took the baby..And my Big Sis had the older boys and took them to Six Flags Magic Mountain.....So my Husband and I hung out all weekend ....We ate at a really nice spot where the stars dine in Hollywood and spent the rest of the night having way too much fun....I didn't take any pics because I did a high braid out pony tail ( Nothing special at all )....My Husband also surprised me with a new Blackberry Curve Phone...So I had a good weekend

So this morning ...I spritzed my hair and used my new Shea Butter (Love It)...Sealed with Coconut Oil...I didn't use any ponytail holders..I just pulled up my hair ...Wrapped around in a bun and used extra large barbie (Bobby) pins ...Quick messy bun.
Funny how I get more compliments on my hair when I don't do anything special to it... Oh and the Shea Butter gave my new growth such pretty waves..I love it !!!

Can you still grow healthy or long hair using heat regularly ?
Yes..But I prefer staying away from heat because I'm able to go a year or more without trims...
These are my reasons for Air Drying
Its perfect for Low Maintenance Hairstyles
Less Heat less damaged ends
Tip : ( Always handle hair with care...Hair is weakest when wet)
If Blow-drying is more convenient for you and your life style...
Always use a leave-in and heat protect ant
NEVER Blow Dry Dripping wet hair ...

Cardio - 35 mins /Jogging/ Mon-Sat
Stretching- 10 mins / Mon-Fri
Upper - Mon/Wed/Fri
I just have more energy when I work out...
Another reason why I will start wearing buns again...
I will keep you guys posted every week
I have about 3'1/2 inches to finally reach the waist-length.....It seems so far away...Don't get me wrong my hair is doing great and my growth and my ability to retain has been amazing....I just want it so bad...I'm just keeping my fingers crossed to make waist-length by the end of the year..
Oh.... Since I tried that Redken RealControl last week...I have been experiencing some shedding....Not enough to raise flags but I started back on my Garlic Supplements..The last thing I need is set backs...
I have been loving the braid-outs I have been wearing ....but because of the heat..I think I'm going to start wearing buns again...It's getting hotter and I'm more comfortable with my hair up and off of me ....

I scrapped my regimen. Now I just basically co-wash my hair daily since I’m no longer using heat. It works out better for me. I moisturize my hair, seal my endz with whatever oil I’m feeling at the moment, & then braid it up. This is mainly my nighttime routine. I usually do a protein treatment with coconut milk, condish, & avocado/coconut oil bi-weekly. I try to do a d/c every week, but sometimes I get pure lazy.
There’s soooo many….Nexuss Humectress, P.M. Tea Tree Condish, Pantene Condish, Lacio Lacio, Silicon Mix Leave In & Condish, Salerm 21 Leave In, Mizz Keyz 10 en 1, Avocado, Coconut, & Natural 7 Olive Oilz, aloe vera gel/glycerin mix, & V05 Strawberriez N Cream Moisture Milkz.
What inspired your Hair Journey?
LHCF & just overall wanting to take better care of my hair altogether. I’ve always had long hair, although I did cut it twice a couple of years ago. (It was the length of Eve’s). But I just want to maintain what I do have and continue the growth that I can achieve.
Do you have a daily hairstyle?
No, I just go with the flow. However I feel like wearing it @ that particular moment is what I go for. Spontaneity is the key!
What technique has helped you the most?
The no heat & the co-washing definitely.
How do you keep your hair and ends healthy?
I’ve backed away from the heat altogether, so now I’m only really rocking up do’s & what not. I also moisturize & seal my ends if not daily, then every other day.
What do you love about being a KISS Member?
The *homey* feel to the site; everyone is helpful; & the interaction of the *creator* with her members. You definitely don’t find that on any of the other *ning* sites. It’s really *cozy* over here. It reminds me of *home*.
What would be your advice to help others?
1. Know what your hair needz...
3. Figure out the best way 2 get the resultz that u want...
4. Do whatz best 4 u & your hair
Lastly remember everything is going to be on a trial & error basis. Don’t get discouraged, never give up hope, & when at first you don’t succeed, try & try again!
