To be honest I have only used the Silken Child Detangler...But let me tell you ...I won't be using it anymore....The Mane n Tail detangler melted my tangles and months of new growth like butter...De tangling was a breeze using this....I loved it..Only con I found about it was it was very oily...

Directions:
Liberally spray Mane 'n Tail Detangler onto dry or damp hair. Work formula through, making sure it covers and reaches all of the hair. DO NOT RINSE OUT. Comb out hair with a large tooth comb or brush. Results are a super slip that allows hair to respond to styling effortlessly. Style as usual.

I love this I just bought it last week for my rollersets!! My hair had sooo much slip!!! no more tugging and pulling while parting my hair the comb went right thru with such ease!!!!
I tried this months ago and did not have good results. I'll revisit it again, I also like the silken child detangler.
Yeah it is really bomb... I bought it yesterday because I'm 7 weeks post with a lot of new growth. And I haven't even been bothering to comb my hair, just bun and go. But, now i can detangle so that my hair doesn't look a dang mess.
I, too used the Silken Child Detangler and it was worthless. It did nothing for my relaxed hair or my daughter's natural hair. I ended up using it in my moisture mix to get rid of it.
The absolute best, best thing I have found for detangling is Chi Keratin Mist. That stuff is absolutely AMAZING and smells WONDERFUL!!
OMG, this stuff is awesome!!! I wish I had found this months ago. I have been having a lot of breakage in my crown area mostly from detangling, but today with this I was able to detangle and rollerset with no broken hairs. This is definitely a keeper for me :)

I used to use this as a kid and I still use it now, it really is good stuff.
This stuff got me out of a bind once when I decided not to comb my hair for a week and airdry after my wash (bad decision). It does what it promises to do. I think you'll like it.
I used this product last night after seeing this review and I absolutely love this product. It really did melt the tangles in my hair like butter. I wish I would have had this last week when I did my first wash myself because I probably wouldn't have lost as much hair but I'm glad I have it now.
Hi Traycee, do you reckon this can be used as a heat protectant too...because of the Dimethicone and Amodimethicone high up on the list? Just wondering....I've been trying to find one product to moisturise AND heat protect to avoid using heavy serums when I flat iron. What do you think? Thanks :)
All of these reviews make me wish I wasn't 2 weeks post with no new growth to try this on! I would love to try this stuff right away! lol
I just bought the detangler and can't wait to try it out! My hair tends to tangle a lot after a wash before I set it so hopefully I'll be able to comb thru my hair without much shedding!
