For those of you that are members of KISS already know that my 9 year old that has asthma had a serious episode this past week....Thank you so much for all of your support and prayers..

Continue to pray for him and my Niece....

Matthew 18:19,20 Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."

Instead of focusing on whats wrong ...I'm going to move onto something more upbeat...

I don't really post any pics prior to my hair journey..So many of you don't know that from age 19 till 2006 ...I used to dye my hair a light honey blonde or a chestnut brown with light highlights...I always kept my hair very light...People that know me or people that haven't seen me in a while are still trying to adjust to me rocking my natural hair color..

You know a few months ago I was considering adding color in the red family which would be very different for me...

This long dark hair is really boring to me..Don't be shocked if color changes or a good hair cut is around the corner ....Just warning ya!!!

I don't have too many pictures of myself years prior...In the past I didn't have a love for the camera like I do now....I did go through some of my Mothers pics and found a few pics that I'm going to post for you guys tomorrow

ARe you using semi-permanent color or a rinse. It seems that no matter how well folks take care of color treated hair, it's still in it's healthiest state w/o it. Semi-permanent will give you the color minus the damange/dryness.

Sorry to hear about ur son will definately keep him in my prayers!
~what a small world! i use to color my hair all the time back in high school and my hair has been black for 4yrs now and im ready to lighten it up. my husband loved my honey blonde hair from back in the day. i even thought about just adding highlights.

besides your hair is the healthiest its ever been and i cant see coloring your hair doing any damage because ur hair is proof that you know how to take better care of ur hair then the salons. im thinking bout coloring mine this week. good luck

Have you ever tried beach waves, I think they would look awesome in your hair! Below you can check out another sista who has long thick hair and hers turned out beautiful

So sorry to hear about your son! Both he and your neice are in my prayers.

Have you ever tried gloss? I once used Sebastian Laminates in Honey Brown. The glossy look was amazing, and I really did feel like it protected my hair. The only thing I find w/Sebastian is that their color chart is a bit off...the Honey Brown came out like a deep chestnut. One of these days I'm going to try a lighter color and see what happens; because, like I said, the gloss factor is worth it!

I think you should use henna to dye your hair. look up some henna mixes that'll get your hair color the way you want but without the damage.

Your son will be in my prayers. Asthma is such a *scary* thing! But, thankfully, all things are possible through Christ Jesus, and He is stronger than any asthma! God bless!

I'm praying for your son, Traycee. God bless you and your family.

I read your post a few weeks ago about finding your HL hair boring, and I actually agree with that concept. Your hair is absolutely GORGEOUS, but I will admit that I miss your deep V-shape...it was very beautiful, and it seemed to fit your personal style better. I'm looking forward to seeing if a cute cut is in your future!
