I flat ironed a couple of weeks ago and didnt post pics...I wish I had because it was one of the best flat iron results since I started me journey.....After I started my journey...I adopted leave in conditioners, and heat protectors .......My straightened hair never had that extra extra light , bouncy feel to it from then on....
Well all that changed this last time around....Yep over the last couple of months I have fallen head over heels with CHI products...
CHI Keratin Mist Spray
CHI claims:
•Leave-in strengthening treatment
•Cationic Hydration Interlink softens and balances hair, locking in moisture
•Reconstructs the inner structure of the hair
•Improves strength
•Adds protection and shine
•Provides incredible manageability
•Can be used every day
Let me say I used this until the bottle was gone to see if the claims were true....Yes...Yes ...Every single one was true...My hair is so much stronger, healthier and shiner....This can be used alone as a leave in...But I prefer to use it on towel dried hair from root to tip...Then I apply my moisturizing leave in conditioner on top....I found doing this keeps my moisture/protein balanced....I use it after every co-wash or wash....At least 3- 5 times a week...I love this stuff...I can't imagine life without it now...Hahahaha
If you give it a try ...This is one of those products that you have to use for a month or longer (depending on condition of hair) to reap the real benefits...
CHI Silk Infusion
CHI Claims:
I had tried this product a few years ago and wasn't excited about it......Ofcourse that was before my hair journey....Well this time around I tried it on wet hair...After I apply my CHI Keratin Mist and my Leave In ...I apply about a dime size amount of CHI Silk Infusion instead of my oil....After I airdry....My hair feels amazing...I use a little here and there on dry hair...But I prefer it on wet hair....I love it on wet hair ..The fact that you can use it as a heat protector its a keeper
CHI Shine Infusion Thermal Polishing Spray
They Say:
CHI Shine Infusion Thermal Polishing Spray is an innovative weightless thermal active shine spray that provides an instant polished shine to all hair styles.
- Helps to repair split ends
- Eliminates frizz and flyaways
- Provides protection against thermal damage
- Ideal to use with all your CHI Ceramic tools
I loved this too....I haven't used it as a heat protector yet.....At night before I would tie up my straightened hair ...I would apply a very small amount of Silk Infusion before brushing and or combing my hair...Then I would pin it up and put on my scarf for the night....I would use the Shine Infusion Spray in the morning after styling ( like you would a oil sheen)....I loved this ...I really didnt use this everyday...Just whenever I needed some extra shine..
Oh and this time around ....At night I would sleep with 2 large bantu knots on the side and cover with scarf...Next morning I would have beautiful soft waves...
Chi isnt the cheapest line....But its so worth every penny...

I agree. I am a huge CHI fan. It is worth it.
***Bargain Alert***
If there is a "Marshall's" close by...They usually carry Chi/BioSilk products for a fraction of the price.
OK, so now you're talking! LOL! I literally LOVE Chi Keratin Mist. That stuff is the BEST detangler in the WORLD! I use is rather sparingly b/c I'm like, something this powerful should probably only be used in moderation. LOL. I have the other products but don't use them. I'll need to break them out!
absolutely check Marshalls and TJMaxx...great deals on CHI goodies!
For those who are pinching pennies you should def. try Sally's Version of Chi products. The have the same exact ingerdents and do the same job for half the cost. and the bottles are bigger i swear by the stuff!!!
I recently started using CHI products, too...the Keratin Mist is the TRUTH!! I love it. I especially like that it has a low pH, so it seals my cuticle when I use it on wet hair. I use mine about 3 times a week, and it's definitely improved the condition of my hair.
I disagree, Yolanda. The Sally's versions are okay but they Chi stuff is definitely better and worth the extra cost.
Will the chi products work well even if you do not the chi flat iron?
