Updates !!!!

Sorry for not blogging for a while....My plate is so so full...Kids are back in school...My oldest is playing football in High School and the second oldest is playing football in Jr High...

Good part is I have been blessed with three really big projects ....Funny how God will just place things in your lap..This isn't just a blessing but a dream....These projects on my resume takes me to a place I've been trying to get to for years....I'm so excited and scared at the same time...

I do know that God wouldn't give too much for me to handle...So if he blessed me with the opportunity ...I know I can do it and balance being a Mom and a wife....

Only dilemma.....Appearance is a important and required part of these projects....I'm 15 weeks post relaxer.....I could blow out my roots and flat iron my hair weekly....But I would have to skip my workouts ..Because if I work out I will have to use heat after each workout to keep my new growth straight....Using heat all week long would cause way too much damage...Skipping workouts is so not cool either...

My other option is too relax this weekend ....If I do that ends my stretch at exactly 16 weeks....I would be able to wear the straight styles , work out without any worries....Its just so sad to end a stretch that is going so so smoothly...

Either way I will keep you guys posted

I think if you do it just this once for the new opportunity you are working on...and take EXTRA special care with treatments...it should be fine! Congrats on the new opportunity! I'm sure you will do a fantastic job and we will all be proud of you! :-)

Very exciting Sis Traycee! It is definitely a season of increase so not at all surprised you're getting your dreams come true! Work it!

I'm nearing 4months too and this stretch is so much easier in part because of two tips you gave ( Burts Bee's and M & T detangler) but I really want to relax early, not sure why, but I'm pretty sure I will... So 4 months for me this time. Don't forget to give us the pics!
Stay Blessed!

Congratulations - sounds exciting! I love exciting projects! Relaxing now would still be admirable and you are already diligent and careful - you'll be great!

I am shocked you have a child in high school!!!! Seriously, I also just found out you have 4 kids! You look amazing and super young!

I understand if you don't reply, but how old are you? Now you are not only a hair inspiration and exercise inspiration but an anti aging guru as well. You look like you're in college - LOL... Keep it up!

How about workouts where you don't get so sweaty? Like yoga or pilates? God bless in your new ventures!

I say end the stretch. 16 weeks is a goood stretch and you dont want to risk the health of your hair with heat damage..

Traycee, I am so happy for you! Isn't it so wonderful when we are able to truly realize the blessings of God and know that somehow he will help us achieve the things that we want to achieve. Good luck with your projects, and I'm sure you'll figure out how to balance everything. Good luck sis!
