I bought a larger jewelry box and a earring stand...I had more earrings than I thought because I'm going to have to go purchase another earring stand next time I'm at the mall..Plus I forgot to get a stand for my bracelets...
I'm getting dressed now to head to Lowes so I can buy some shelves and closet orangizers...
I need to get my accessories , purses, etc...Organized....I have this thing about going in the New Year with a clean organized house...I already cleaned out and organized my hair products..
In my head I see a area that I can sit my accessories etc...Thats my lil corner....I don't have any ideas yet..But hopefully I can come up with something creative and girly for that space...
will post pics over the next couple of days when I get finished...

I started doing something like this too about a month ago. At my new apartment, I have a walk-in closet and a fair amount of closet sapce all over. So I've been on the lookout for closet organizers and such just to make sure the space stays organized and clean.
Can't wait to see it! I am always re-organizing according to my needs - it's the best feeling to have a super organized space!! :)
I grew up being taught this same thing; you have to bring in the New Year's with a clean house, clean laundry and cooked green veggies to represent money (preferably collard greens)...lol. Problem is this year I'm so pooped I haven't began organizing as of yet. I'll probably end up last minute around the house on New Year's Eve.
I LOVE organization! I got a new catalog today from The Container Store. This past year, I bought 2x from HSN (Joy Mangano, Huggable Hangers & Organizers). My tiny closet is very organized. "No More Wire Hangers!" Between Joy Mangano, Lori Greiner (QVC jewelry/cosmetics organizers) & The Container Store, I'm all over it! I've also ckd out Miles Kimball, Lillian Vernon & the organize website for inexpensive ideas. Have fun! Can't wait to see your results. I have a lot of accessories as well.
I have been doing this same thing. I have been going through the house donating things and trying to create a space for everything. I hate clutter and I am finding that if it doesn't have a "place" then it needs to be thrown out or donated. I have been racking up on the multisized drawer sets.
