Will post more info on the tea rinses this weekend !!
This is such excellent info. I normally detest making, mixing, adding things to my products...too much time & work, but this is definitely one I will have to make time for. Thanks for sharing.
I can't wait to try - I also went on-line and found info about Black tea and nettle tea - both stimulate hair growth and strengthen hair.BTW - why in the heck are u trying to stimulate ur hair growth - LOL - we'll have 2 nick name u Rapunzel in a minute!! :)Fabulous hair!
this is great - i have been doing a hibiscus/green tea/ACV rinse for about a month now and it has changed my hair for the better! I thought it was the deep conditioner.. but when I didnt do the treatment i could feel and see more hair clumps come out in detangling. Thanks so much for this review. I have also tried coffee but it is very stimulating and will make me very alert!
oh my goodness Traycee! I tried a black tea rinse after watching your video on Saturday and let me tell you....my hair has never felt softer! and the shedding has decreased DRAMATICALLY. I am definitely going to add to my regimen, hopefully 2x a week. THANK YOU. you are such a blessing and an inspiration in all areas of your life that you share with us.
Hi traycee> Can you do a video on exactly how you do the rinse. please! Thank you
Yes, this is good stuff, I am sitting with my cap on with my deep conditioner. I had to watch the video again, to be sure I did it right. I think the video is good as is, very self explanatory, no explanation needed. I am recommending it on my FB page.ThanksKindle
I applied the tea using a spray bottle. I would recommend that method over pouring it on your hair with a bowl or cup.
I've done this two times so far and notice that my hair feels softer and oddly enough straighter (I am 9 months post relaxer). Last night I pour my black tea into a spray bottle and applied it that way. I liked that method because I didn't waste any by spilling it and I was able to concentrate on problem areas of my hair.
I'd like to try the tea rinse this weekend. I don't like getting in and out of the shower. So I'm wondering if I could wet my hair using a spray bottle. Then spray the tea rinse thru my hair and let it stay on for 20 minutes. Apply my DC on top of rinse and keep on for 30 minutes(Can you DC with heat?) Or does the tea rinse have to be applied to freshly cleaned hair. Thanks Tracyee! - jmason
This is something that I definitely want to try. I'm always looking for something natural first before I seek chemical treatment of any kind. Thanks :)
can u do the black tea rinse if you have highlights or will it darken the highlights?
Hi Traycee, what type of black tea? Do you mean regular tea bags because in London I can find no where which sells black tea. Just regular tea?
You cannot find black tea? you can get it at your local health food store. I never drink black tea. I drink green tea with amla. I wonder if that will do anything.
Hello. This method sounds interesting :) I was just wondering...does your hair need to be wet when you pour the tea rinse on it?
I shed like crazy. I'm hoping that this will work on my hair as well. I'm white, so I don't know if the difference in hair texture will make a difference or not. I'm hoping all goes well. Thank you so much for the info!
Thanks so much for posting this info. I am always looking for natural ways to improve my hair. I will definitely try and post my results.
One of the good benefits of Black Tea. Natural things is always worth a try. Great information!
