It's funny that you would post this b/c I have been researching cinnamon oil and ground cinnamon in hair care. Turns out it'll naturally lighten the hair especially when paired with honey. I've been seeing various recipes for this as well. Have you been using it to lighten your hair? If so, have you seen results yet?
I've been reading up on cinnamon oil and have come across some information that says it can have adverse effects when applied to skin:
"Being strong in nature, cinnamon oil should be avoided for internal consumption. Further, it can have adverse effects on the skin, if used topically in concentrated form and therefore it should be used in diluted form. Moreover before using cinnamon oil, it should be tested if it suits your skin. Hence apply only a small quantity of cinnamon oil initially and check if you get any allergic reaction. Do not apply cinnamon oil on the face and sensitive areas."

@ Anonymous... Yes... Cinnamon oil is just like rosemary and should only be applied when mixed with a carrier oil...Cinnamon is commonly found in hair products that treat hair loss ... It is safe to use but you want to use it like rosemary and do not apply it directly to the skin and mix it with a carrier oil or in you conditioner..
This was just a short tip..Not a full post....But you are right...
