Nice review. I've never tried any JBCO but I see some ladies get amazing results with it!

I wish I wasn't allergic to JBCO..I would so love to try it and see what it could do for my hair...

I have used this before..its great for stretching but I developed some bumps on my scalp from it thet were very tender and painful when I accidently ran a comb over it so I had to stop using it...I now use it as a base and on my already relaxed hair when relaxing

I've been wanting to try the jbco products and ordered the hair food after seeing traycees review... a little concerned now that I see mzkea's comment. I planned on using it on the length of my hair only, so hopefully I don't get any bumps or anything from using this.

@ EbonyCPrincess... Yes I love JBCO

@ Mzkea.. Oh wow.. What you described is a allergic reaction..I have had this same reaction to other products Matrix Balm (I think is the name) did the same thing to my scalp..

I haven't had any problems but I would never apply it to the scalp either because of the wax

@ Anonymonus... I wouldn't be too concerned ..What she described is a allergic reaction to one of the ingredients

@ Tracyee.. Ok, thanks. I only planned on using it on the length of my hair only so hopefully that wont be a issue.

Do you think its still ok to apply to the length of hair with the waxes in the ingredients? Thanks

Hey Traycee, just fyi - you said in your video that you couldnt find hardly any videos or reviews of this product, did you try searching "Jamaican Black Castor Oil Pomade" instead of hair food?
Im not sure if you searched that way at first but I searched yesterday and found several videos and reviews on different sites. Hope this helps..

I know you've already purchased it, but maybe this will help someone else.

Thanks

Any ideas as to why I lost all my hair around the edges when I applied jbco?

Thx Traycee so much for doing this video. You're right, at the beginning of my hhj I threw out all of my greases/pomades...especially anything with: mineral oil, petroleum, or lanolin in the ingredients. But when you went over the ingredients in the JBCO pomade, it made me feel like it's worth the try. I love JBCO anyway. Very curious about the pomade now. Gonna try it. Thanks again!

Traycee,

Do you know how to slow down postpartum shedding? What did you do to your hair after having the boys?

Another possible explanation besides the bumps being an allergic reaction, is that they are pimples from clogged pores. I had to stop putting castor oil on my scalp after getting pimples, but applying the castor oil to the length hasn't caused any problems. :)

I am tempted to purchase this. There was one other product similar to this that I would like to try first. I think Nature's Blessing is the name of it. Thanks for the review of this castor oil pomade.

Nice blog post. Oils are so important to help our hair lock in moisture. Don't wash it off the very next day if you want more benefits out of it.
