I co-washed today and airdried in a ponytail.... Today I used Bee Mine Bee Lovely New Rinse Out Conditioner as my leave in and it worked amazing !!! I think that's going to be my leave in from now on ...

I plan on doing my hair this weekend for the 4th.... Here's my plan Clarify, Black Tea Rinse , Aphogee 2 min Reconstructor, then follow up with Bee Mine Bee U Ti Ful Moisturizing Deep Conditioner....

So what if we took over July 4th and made it National Afro day ...and
we go to all the cookouts, firework display, and family events with

Wear your afro tees and natural hair shirts and all that good junk.

I have been bunning even through the weekends..... Only because I have been working around the clock trying to get K.I.S.S. Store opened...

I'm so excited the first phase of K.I.S.S. store will open Wed. and each week I will be adding to the store...

My hair doing great....The Bee Mine Bee Lovely Daily Conditioner and the Bee U Ti Ful Deep Conditioner are wonderful....The Bee Lovely is great for a quick hit of moisture and does a wonderful job for my co washes...

But the Bee U Ti Ful Deep Conditioner works so unbelievably well it should be against the law... I love it !!!

I have still been juicing and sealing with Bee Beloved moisturizer...My hair is loving the juice (glycerin moisturizers)

My hair is just feeling so amazing .... I can't wait to see how much length I will be able to retain by the end of the year..

Oh yeah...Because of the daily juicing and the new moisturizing conditioners ...I have added Aphogee 2min Reconstructor to my regimen 1x a week to prevent moisture overload..

How I Damp Bun

Today's Routine

This morning I jumped in the shower and shampooed with Bee Mine Peppermint & Tea Tree Nourishing Shampoo..

Shampoo day I always deep condition under my heating cap or dryer for 30 mins or more...

Well not today...I threw Bee Mine Bee U Ti Ful Deep Conditioner in my hair while in the shower and rinsed out after only maybe 5 mins...

My hair felt great...But I should have deep conditioned...I need to get back on my game if I'm going to reach Tail Bone any time soon !!!!

I ended up doing a damp braided ponytail for the day...

I will do my deep condition maybe tomorrow...

Most of you know I still need to do a length check but I'm trying to figure out how to do that without straightening my hair ...I texlaxed my new growth last relaxer so I have about 3 inches of texlaxed hair....Because of the 2 textures I have shrinkage when I air dry..

Maybe I will just stretch it with my hands...Because I don't plan on using any real heat till maybe Nov sometime ...

Tangled Mess !!!

For years I have suffered from migraines .... From the help of Doctors I have learned how to avoid them ....So I don't get them often anymore..The littlest things can cause a migraine from processed foods, caffeine , not enough sleep , or even the obvious like tension or stress..




Yesterday mid day got the worse migraine... I always put off taking something because I hate taking medicine but by the time night came it was so bad I gave in ...My diet hasn't been the greatest this past week..But that headache was the motivation I need to get back on track ...


I wasn't feeling up to moisturizing , sealing and putting scarf like I usually do... So I went to bed with my loose bun..


Well I'm feeling great this morning but woke up with my hair being a tangled mess...But because my hair was well moisturized the day before it was still soft..Which made me scared to detangle because of breakage...



I put a little Bee Mine Deja's Milk on the tangles and gently combed them out..It took me about 10 minutes to competely detangle my hair...After I was done I took some Scurl No Drip and sprayed my hair then sealed with Bee Mine Bee Loved Moisturizer ..Put my hair in a low ponytail in my hair....





Wearing that scarf makes a huge difference and makes combing your hair the next day so much easier !!!!

Tip :

Lavender Oil rubbed into your temples can ease and quiet a headache

I have so much to catch you guys up on....I already announced that I decided to grow to Tailbone length....

Well my last relaxer was 2 weeks ago and I texlaxed....I decided to transition from relaxed to texlaxed...It took me 2 weeks to come and announce this....hahahaha...I'm so nervous about this new journey...

Texlaxed is still relaxed...You just only relax long enough to loosen your hair pattern...Basically your not relaxing bone straight ...Your leaving texture....In all honesty I think transitioning from relaxed to texlaxed can be harder than transitioning to natural...

I say this because instead of dealing with 2 textures...You have to deal with 3 textures...Your relaxed straight hair, your texlaxed hair, and your new growth (natural texture).

All I wear are braid outs .... I don't even flat iron my hair anymore....I want to be able to do wash and goes...Just co-wash and go....Unfortunately my 4 type spongy coarse hair can't do wash and go's...

So why not stay relaxed but leave some texture..

Sorry its taking me so long to share...But its like I'm still trying to convince myself....

I used the same relaxer I always use the Silk Elements Mega Silk Regular Relaxer I just left it on half the time....Next time around I will use the mild...

I know having 30+ inches of hair is going to make this even harder....I hope I can do this in 2 years....I don't plan to start cutting my straight relaxed ends until I get closer to my goal of TL ..

Can't A Woman Change Her Mind ???

When I first started my hair journey all I wanted was Bra Strap Length ...Then it changed to Middle Back Length and that was my final goal...Of course when I got there it didn't seem all that long ...From there it was Waist-length to HL...

I have been trimming and maintaining my hair at about WL-HL...But I have changed my mind again....Yep that's right I changed my mind...I'm thinking if I grow my hair longer .... My textured styles would be longer !!! Well it makes sense in my own mind..

So today starts my journey to Tail Bone Length Hair.. Its only a few inches away but for some reason I think this half of my journey won't be as easy as the first..

I'm putting myself back on intensive mode....Keeping my ends protected as much as possible...And staying away from heat except for deep conditioning...Braid outs will be my going out style on the weekends...

I will go back to documenting everything like I did in the beginning .... What I do ...When I do it...What I used ...So that means I will be blogging more..

It's summer so I will be co-washing more .. Only difference is this summer I won't be mixing my famous Aloe Vera Juice and glycerin mix.... I have been using other glycerin based products instead ...Easier that way ....

I plan to share my triumphs and frustrations and hope all you will help me along the way !!!

I have been co-washing with the New Bee Mine Bee Lovely Daily Conditioner for a couple of weeks now.. I believe it came out this Friday... I love it !! I will blog more about it later.....But it leaves my hair so silky soft and moisturized... I have been co-washing with it 4 to 5 times a week.... Summers here so I'm back to co-washing often.


That was the only thing from the line that was missing...Moisturizing conditioners... I have been deep conditioning with the new moisturizing deep conditioner that is coming out later this month ...I love the duo...I feel like the line is complete now !!!

You Think I Have Enough Of The Juice !!!!

Many people think back to the Jheri Curls and how every ones hair was so long and healthy !!! Well it wasn't the chemicals that caused the long hair ...But the Juice that kept the hair extremely moisturized ...





Women still use Curl Activators to retain length to this day isn't new !!! I'm just getting into it....The juice works best the summer or in moister seasons...The glycerin in the juice is a humectant and draws moisture from the air.. If the is not enough moisture in the air (Some say 65%)... It can do the opposite and draw moisture from the hair and leave it dry...So it works best during certain seasons..

I Thought You Hated It !!!

A few of the Ladies that have followed my blog for a while noticed that I'm using Wave Nouveau.. They remember how much I hated it !!! Yep here is the link to my original review

I have no idea why its working for me now... Only thing I can think of is that when I tried it the first time it was January and maybe it wasn't that much moisture in the air for the glycerin to work... Maybe its the combo with the Bee Mine Products...I don't know...hahahaha

I thought it would be fun to hear ...What products did you try and hate ...Only to revisit and fall in love with ???

Relaxer Update !!!

I relaxed last night with Silk Elements Mega Silk Regular Relaxer...I relaxed at I think 14 weeks...I won't be doing any long stretches this summer ...

The relaxer went well and I loved the results...My hair is really growing ... I will post pics this weekend..

I thought I would share some tips most people know but I'm shocked at the women who don't !!! Most women don't know because they are new to DIY..

The most important step in relaxing is neutralizing ... A Neutralizing shampoo not only removes the relaxer residue but stops the chemicals from processing and helps bring your PH Level back to normal... Regular shampoo only removes residue ...But the residue you can't see is still working ...Skipping the neutralizing step will lead to extreme damage, baldness and breakage and even scalp burns...

My tip.... I always use a light protein conditioner before I neutralize.... I rinse out all of the Relaxer...Then I apply Aphogee 2min Re constructor to hair for 5mins...Rinse then apply my Neutralizing Shampoo... After making sure I neutralize very well ...I then deep condition with a moisturizing conditioner...
