Traycee, your hair looks amazing at any length. Your hair grows fast and you have very cute styles. I totally support your decision to not transition for several years. I'm in the process of doing the same thing but from bone straight to texlaxed to natural: I have 3 textures at BSL. Blessings!
And I was struggling with deciding to cut off the last 4 inches of my relaxed hair to transition to texlaxed.LOL! But you did do it at a good time and a good length because in a year you'll get 6-7 inches and be back down to WL bordering on HL in no time. I will say this, I can't imagine you at BSL. I'm an inch from MBL so it would be like we're growing out our relaxers at the same time and length. Wow! Anyways, I see the thickness building in your hair and it looks great! You're hair wath thick before but now its really going to be thick.
Girl your hair looks great. You are so confident and that is wonderful. Kudos to you in your transitioning hair journey. Having the thickness back is wonderful because your styles will have even more body.
I know transitioning and dealing with the textures can be hard work but you are doing an awesome job.
You should be proud of your hair it is doing well. so many women are going through this hair transition process-some easier than others due to our different hair textures; but whats your opinion on using braids or hair weaves to help speed up the transition process time?
