Saturday Morning Routine

Saturday morning is usually beauty time for me. I wash and deep condition my hair, shave my legs , wax, ebrows , toes, hands and facial. You get it. I used to do all this on Friday so I can be cute for the weekend.

Friday night I was so tired. I didn't even bother to put my scarf on. Not to mention I ran out of my Elasta Qp Olive and Mango Butter. I have to drive out of my area to purchase it and it really sucks. Alot of people buy theirs from Walgreens for way cheaper than what I pay. But the stores and beauty supplies stores out here do not cater to black products. I have looked in every walgreens out here and can't find it. Whatever I would use to moisturize my hair last week just wouldn't do the job. So today I will be going to Long Beach to my favorite beauty supply store and stocking up on my moisturizer.

This Saturday I washed my hair as normal but didn't feel like pulling out the steamer etc. Instead I just did a few minutes under the heating cap with Aphogee 2 Min Reconstructor and followed up in the shower with Silk Elements Moisturizing Conditioner . My hair needed some protein. Thats it and my hair is going in its bun. Mid week I will deep condition with my steamer and a moisturizing conditioner to make up for this Sat.

How do I know If my hair needs protein. Click to find out !
